Nora McElwain (pronounced mackle-wayne) is a believer and born-again child of the King of Glory, Jesus Christ. From the time the Lord saved her until now, one of her deepest desires has been to draw others nearer unto Christ. That's why the Resurrection Day release of More Precious than Pearls, is extra special to her!  It is a book she has labored in love toward for over two years as co-author, editor, illustrator and designer!

There are many other passions in her life as well.  She is honored to be known as a preacher's wife, a homeschooling mother, a scripture-inspired artist, a waldorf turned montessori turned Christian school teacher, a mentor and a national and international curriculum developer.

Back in 2008, Nora graduated from the University of the Pacific on the West Coast with a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Magna Cum Laude. Prior to that, she majored in English Literature with a double-minor in Biology and Visual Arts.

For over a decade since, she has experienced an insightful journey teaching multiple subjects at every grade level, from K through 12, across the country and the globe. She has also been privileged to mentor countless teachers and parents along the way. Now, as her focus has shifted to homeschooling her own children, she will be creating and releasing rich supplemental resources for other homeschooling families in the near future.
